The Famous Person Project idea has gone over fairly well. Students were able to use a photo of themselves plotted out close to life size. It was glued to foam board and cut out with X-acto knives. The object was for us to learn how to use the timer feature on the Nikon CoolPIX camera, setting up a tripod, and using the HP plotter. Difficulty was in deciding what to wear for the photo, how to pose, and what am I gonna do with it after I'm done.
