All engaged in leaning

It is good to see on a Friday, every student in the room is busy completing assignments. I saw work being done on painting the edges of the famous person cutout, plotting of more famous people, Adobe Photo shop Elements work from chapter 5, and make up work for the RappFLOW clean streams photo contest tomorrow. I hope to see some of the students at the event so they can see their work. The way I read the web site info, everyone in attendance gets tokens to vote on the best photos.

I still have students that can not seem to focus on meeting deadlines, so I am assigning break time for extra work for those kids. I hope they show up Monday so it'll not become a discipline problem and I need to go route of referrals to the office. I just want everyone in class to pass the course and have a pleasant time learning while with me.

I decided to move the ink jet printers of the AV carts and put them on a computer permanently. I offered 10 bonus points for a 4x6 glossy print of the c.5 final in attempt to give more opportunities to raise grades. The newer Canon printer (which I own myself since I ran out of materials and supply budget) is installed on the computer dedicated to the scanner. Students will need to move their file via the server to this computer. They may use this at any time since no one is using this computer for daily work. d

Some students jumped on making their own blogs. What I see now is just for fun. The assignment is to produce an electronic portfolio demonstrating their skills.
