Better than the first one...

Using my standard photo of myself worked a little better. I first used Photoshop to change the image from a color one to a black and white. It took some time to erase the background around my head. I used the magic lasso tool with different tolerances to select just my head. Then I clicked inverse to select just the background. This made it much quicker to erase the background. I think I was more accurate than trying to use the erasure without a selection done first.

I still think I need many more pennies as the background. Maybe I should try to create a pattern of the pennies and tile them first. I think the background looks "too big". One penny is about the size of my eye and that is what I'm most concerned with.
